Harris Creek Baptist Church (HCBC) is an organization that stands out in its community, and it needed a website to help it stand out from the rest of the church websites in the web community.

When Harris Creek Baptist Church wanted to move from a closed, expensive, propriatary CMS to an easy-to-use, open CMS, they partnered with Cory Webb Media to make it happen. Now in its third major iteration with Joomla, the HCBC site has been updated with a cleaner design and a streamlined user experience.

During the course of developing the new site, a lot of attention was focused on making the site and church attractive to visitors, and to be informative and useful to its current members. CWM created a design and template with a modern edge that comes across without being harsh. The majority of the site is powered by custom content types that were setup to make HCBC administrators' jobs easy. A good dose of tasteful, custom javascript elements make it a joy to experience for site visitors.
